Nolan Lane

My dad's birthday is June 14th. He passed away on August 31, 2020. For his first birthday without him,  I came up with another TTM challenge for myself. This one I called "Dad TTM Project." On June 8, 2021, six days before his birthday, I sent birthday cards to eleven baseball players who also shared his birthday.

Here is the card that I sent to Nolan Lane.

Twenty days later my card came back signed.

Bud Anderson

In May of 2021, I was looking for cards to mail out and I saw on the back of Bud Anderson's card that his birthday was less than a week away (May 27th), so I decided to look him up and I found his address and sent him my card and the following letter.

31 days later my card came back signed.

Beau Allred

Rick Adair

In March of 2021, I decided to seek out an address for Rick Adair. I found an address and sent him my card and a letter.

25 days later my card came back signed.

Rick signed a 1990 CMC card #476.

Ty Kovach

On September 10, 2020, I decided to go through these 2 alphabetical boxes of baseball cards and pull random cards out. I would then look to see if I could find a mailing address online to send a card to.

I ended up writing and mailing out 11 letters that day. All addresses that I looked up myself, not listed on an autograph database, as far as I could tell.

I found what looked to be a legitimate address for Mr. Kovach, so I wrote him a letter and included my card.

Eleven days later my card came back signed. He also included a note back.

Dave Hudgens

I met him at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida in 2020, when the Toronto Blue Jays, whom he was the bench coach for, came to play the Philadelphia Phillies in a spring training game.

Dave signed a 1979 TCMA card #0518, which incorrectly spells his last name.

Cole Sulser

I met him at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida in 2020, when the Baltimore Orioles came to play the Philadelphia Phillies in a spring training game.

I met his brother, Beau 3 years earlier. Unfortunately for Beau, his card spells his last name incorrectly.
